The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker é o primeiro jogo Zelda para o Nintendo GameCube e também o primeiro da série a empregar cel-shading, uma técnica de iluminação e texturização que faz com que o jogo tenha uma aparência de desenho animado. Como seus antecessores, The Wind Waker é um jogo de ação com resolução de quebra-cabeças e elementos leves de RPG. A mecânica básica de jogo é semelhante à encontrada em Ocarina of Time, mas se diferencia pelo seu enorme Grande Mar, que deve ser explorado usando um barco chamado King of Red Lions.
